Quem pretende viajar de trem entre Basel e Freiburg no início de outubro deve ficar atento às alterações previstas na linha ferroviária entre a Suíça e a Alemanha.
Devido a obras entre Basel Badischer Bahnhof e Freiburg im Breisgau, os serviços ferroviários terão cancelamentos, desvios e ônibus substitutos entre a noite de 2 de outubro e a manhã de 5 de outubro de 2026.
Segundo a SBB, as alterações começam às 21h de sexta-feira, 2 de outubro, e seguem até as 6h de segunda-feira, 5 de outubro.
ICEs serão cancelados entre Basel e Freiburg
Durante o período das obras, os trens ICE que normalmente circulam pelo trecho serão afetados.
A SBB informa que haverá ônibus substitutos de hora em hora entre Basel SBB, Basel Badischer Bahnhof e Freiburg im Breisgau.
Alguns poucos ICEs continuarão circulando, mas serão desviados entre Offenburg e Zürich HB, com parada apenas em Singen.
Com os desvios, o tempo de viagem poderá aumentar em até 60 minutos.

Train services between Basel and Freiburg to face disruptions in October: what travelers need to know
Anyone planning to travel by train between Basel and Freiburg in early October should be aware of upcoming changes to rail services between Switzerland and Germany.
Due to construction work between Basel Badischer Bahnhof and Freiburg im Breisgau, rail services will face cancellations, diversions and replacement buses from the evening of October 2 until the morning of October 5, 2026.
According to SBB, the disruptions will begin at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, and continue until 6:00 a.m. on Monday, October 5.
ICE trains between Basel and Freiburg will be affected
During the construction period, ICE trains that normally operate along this route will be affected.
SBB says hourly replacement buses will operate between Basel SBB, Basel Badischer Bahnhof and Freiburg im Breisgau.
A limited number of ICE trains will continue to operate but will be diverted between Offenburg and Zürich HB, stopping only in Singen.

There will also be changes to night train connections between Zürich and Berlin/Prague.
Depending on the connection, passengers departing from Basel may need to travel to Zürich first in order to board a diverted night train.
